Upcoming Women’s Retreat!
Spring 2027
Art & Yoga, using artistic expression and somatic Yoga for healing | Spring, 2027
A weekend for women needing a chance to rediscover themselves. Find “her” within you. Maybe she has been lost, hiding from the world, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or grieving. We invite you to experience healing and renewal using your own artistic expression and mindfulness based, gentle yoga practices focused on healing the nervous system.
We welcome you to this healing weekend with your two guides, Sarah Arace and Carrie Welch, who offer support, compassion, understanding, and a wealth of knowledge in their fields.
Meet Your Expert Guides!
Carrie Welch, MS, LPC, LCPC, RYT
Carrie has been a student of Yoga since 2008 and a teacher since 2014. She received her Yoga certification from the ashram, Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science in Indore, India, where she spent a month immersing herself in meditation and mindfulness practices.
Formerly a massage therapist for 12 years, she now holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and a master’s in clinical mental health from Montana State University. She has continued her studies in neuroscience, learning how to work with the autonomic nervous system through somatic movement and polyvagal theory. She holds certificates in different styles of meditation and mindfulness, restorative Yoga, Yoga for cancer, and trauma informed Yoga. Her specialty is somatic movement therapies for anxiety and PTSD. She currently works part time as a mental health clinician.
Her style of teaching is slow, spiritual and meditative, focused on using breath and body movement as a guide to deeper inner awareness and nervous system regulation.
When she is not working in mental health, she is spending time with her husband and her dog Ria, who is her business mascot. Ria shows up in all of her membership and YouTube videos. Carrie loves growing things in her garden, reading interesting books, knitting, sewing and writing articles on her Substack page. She is also currently working on a book.

Sarah’s Bio coming soon
Carrie and Sarah have been friends for over 15 years. They met while waiting tables in the services industry in Nashville, TN. Both of them working on building other careers and realizing their dreams. Regardless of the many challenges in life, the ups and downs, one of them moving away, they continued to keep in touch and support each other when they could. They realized, sometimes you find people who simply stay.
What to expect from one of our retreats:
-
We believe that healing begins when the nervous system remembers how to feel safe. Our retreats are designed to create a sense of peace. We hold the space for non-judgment and full support.
-
Everything offered in our retreats is completely optional. You can opt out at any time and choose to find a quiet and solitude. Or you can choose to participate in whatever you like, as well as make suggestions. Giving you the power of choice will take your healing journey into confidence and empowerment.
-
Wherever we offer our retreats, you are guaranteed a chance to be somewhere serene in nature. Our locations offer a variety of mountains, lakes, oceans, and trees. Bringing you a sense of connection to the earth.
-
With each one of our retreats, we make a space for creativity, guided and/or on your own. We use art as a tool for emotional release and spiritual connection.
-
The yoga practices in our retreats are designed for all levels of experience. If you’ve never practiced yoga before, this is a great place to start. If you are a regular practitioner, you are still guaranteed to learn something new.
