What to Expect:

With every retreat you are welcome to a chat with your guide Carrie, before and after you begin, simply to give you a safe space to release any worries or concerns and just have someone to talk to. You have complete choice and autonomy and can choose to omit these chats as well as any of the other activities included. You will receive an email with a link to your personal chat when you purchase the retreat. You will also receive a form to fill out welcoming your ideas and what you are expecting and needing from this retreat, plus any other questions or comments that come to mind. Read below for an outline of your day of solitude.

Day of Solitude Retreat Experience:

  • Morning wake-up meditation and gentle movement focused on waking up the senses and positive intentions.

  • Nutritious breakfast recipe and tea.

  • Mid-morning intentional walk outside.

  • Yoga practice and breath exercise followed by either quiet reflection, journaling, coloring, word search, or puzzle.

  • Nutritious lunch recipe focused on your personal Ayurveda dosha.

  • Spending time outside; your choice to take an afternoon walk, sit and drink afternoon tea, read a book, sit in a garden, etc.

  • Listen to music of your choice and engage in personalized mindfulness practice.

  • Nutritious dinner recipe.

  • Evening nature walk with mindfulness towards the sights and sounds around you.

  • Evening slow and gentle yoga.

  • Enjoy a bath with a personalized bath soak recipe.

  • Listening to soft music for sleep and read time and/or journaling.

  • Bed-time breath exercise for sleep.
