Find Calm in the Chaos
A support group and workshop:
for stress management and anxiety
What is anxiety? Anxiety is an umbrella word used to describe reactions, emotions, sensations and symptoms in response to a stressing event. Anxiety is a natural nervous system response that comes from the part of the brain that is wired to help us survive. All humans have anxiety, but everyone experiences anxiety in different varying levels and degrees according to their lived experiences, cultural backgrounds, environments, and even genetics. Anxiety often stems from learned behaviors and/or rooted traumatic or difficult experiences and can feel like moments of panic, trouble breathing, thought spiraling, intrusive thoughts, heart palpitations, stomach churning, sweating, trouble focusing, feeling numb or disconnected, tired, fatigued, or overly exhausted.
If anxiety is distressing and crippling in your life, there is a way through to the other side. This does not mean removing anxiety, however there are tools to lessen the intensity you’re feeling and ways to build awareness and resilience which can help with managing stress, feelings of burn-out, and feelings of overwhelm.
What to expect:

Learn coping strategies for anxiety: (social anxiety, general anxiety, panic attacks and phobias).
